We R Interactive introduces LYROKE for iPad

11th April, 2013, London: Social entertainment company, We R Interactive, has today announced that its popular music game, LYROKE, is now available to play on iPad.

We R Interactive works with the music industry’s biggest labels and publishers to create LYROKE, a first-of-its kind music game that streams full-length official music videos from some of the world’s biggest artists as an interactive gaming mechanic, challenging the user to guess the lyrics against the clock.

The move to iPad follows the success of the mobile versions for iOS and Android, which were launched earlier this year, and web-based versions of the game, on Facebook

Already the game is being played in 203 counties, having stormed the Apple App Store music game charts, reaching the no. 1 spot in seven European markets including the UK, and no. 2 in the USA.  It features a growing global catalogue that now features some of the world’s biggest artists such as Conor Maynard, DJ Fresh, Jessie J, Professor Green, Rizzle Kicks, and The Lumineers.

With 1 million players since its launch, LYROKE is proving to be one of the best loved games for music fans, offering them a new interactive experience. 

Through global deals with Universal Music UK, Sony, and EMI Music LYROKE also provides a unique commercial opportunity for the music industry, delivering new incremental revenue to the music industry.

LYROKE has been a part of some of the world’s biggest entertainment events, including an exclusive backstage presence at the BRIT Awards 2013, and a feature on the big screens at “The Great American Race” – the Daytona 500 International Speedway in Florida, USA. In addition, it is also due to be featured at The ‘Indy 500’ at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Indiana, USA. 

LYROKE for iPad is the latest release from UK-based social entertainment company, We R Interactive.  Other releases from the company include the popular game, I AM PLAYR, in which players can live the life of a professional footballer, both on and off the pitch. I AM PLAYR is available online, via Facebook, and on mobile for iOS and Android.
